Mike was the best DJ this dancing bride could have ever asked for. He took all requests, respected the do not play and "please play" list.

He was SO aware of what kept people moving and grooving and kept the energy high. We had so many compliments on how wonderful Mike was, from staff at our venue and our guests. Highly recommend this kind, wonderful and extremely fun gentleman. You will not regret it!

From the DJ started playing, he had the songs which I requested especially our song, which really made my day. The music was great for very time the song end thought to sit down no way because the next song you wanted to dance to, it went like that all night long. DJ was very friendly and great to talk to, they would be the first to call again if something came up we needed music and a DJ

Mike was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond both leading up to and on our special day. DJ: Brooks DJ Entertainment (Mike Brooks) is hands down the best DJ out there! Besides being friendly, professional, and reasonably priced, he's incredibly organized and responsive (this coming from a very Type A personality lol). He was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process - providing countless forms/templates and song lists (I couldn't believe all of the helpful forms and tips he provided!). He graciously agreed to MC our wedding when I had no clue who else to ask (about 2 weeks before the big day). We hired Mike for the full day (7-8 hrs): ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dance. The day of, he was on time, dressed accordingly, friendly and inviting to our guests, did a wonderful MC job (keeping everything running on time), and regularly checked in with my husband and I to ensure we were happy. Do not hesitate to book Brooks DJ Entertainment (Mike Brooks) for your wedding or party needs - I definitely will be the next time I'm in need of a DJ!

◈DJ: Brooks DJ Entertainment - For our DJ we wanted someone who would get everyone on the dance floor and keep them there all night. Mike did an awesome job picking the songs for the night. I told him what styles and vibe we wanted and he took it from there. He was super helpful and made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure we were hearing everything we wanted to. Absolutely the best DJ around! We are a mature couple who got married in September 2022. Mike was excellent to deal with, and asks extensive questions so he would know how to read the room on our wedding day. Mike played pre-ceremony music, all the wedding music, reception music and then the dance music. From the minute the dance music started, Mike had the dance floor full for the entire night. Our guests kept complimenting us on how much fun they had dancing the night away. We highly recommend Mike, he is a great guy with incredible talent. Thanks again Mike. I can second this! Fantastic DJ

Mike was recommended to us as a fantastic DJ, so we went with this recommendation and was it ever spot on!
Mike was incredibly easy to deal with, always responsive and timely. We unfortunately had to postpone our 2020 wedding to 2021, and he made rescheduling super easy. Leading up to the wedding, we added uplighting and MC light services, as well as asked Mike to also do our ceremony music. Day of, everything was perfect, the ceremony music was perfect, the audio was perfect, uplighting was perfect, and MC services was perfect. The DJ part was beyond perfect, the choices were great, we danced all night past last call! The request process was easy and guest really appreciated that. We would highly recommend Mike as a DJ to anyone looking to keep their dancefloor a happening place all night!

Brooks DJ Entertainment is the best DJ out there! Mike Brooks has years of experience DJing weddings he helped us so much with all the details and lot I hadn't even thought of. This is overdue but we had Mike Brooks as our DJ on Sept 30th at Shining Waters Marine and he knew the crowd so well! We had an older crowd with a few younger ones from all over, mainly Cape Breton. We wanted a casual feel with some classic old Cape Breton music and he even ended with the 90s! It flowed so well and he hit every genre! All we had to do was give him some of our must plays (which weren't many), tell him the style we were going for and the best part is he has a do not play list lol ... seriously his prices are so good and for our wedding we just wanted the ceremony and party after and Mike hit it on the money! So Thank You! I've heard of other bride and grooms having to come up with an entire playlist for other DJs and I couldn't imagine, Mike made it so easy! He even has a guide for the night that you can use to follow how you want everything to flow! That was a life saver to keep me organized! ... seriously highly recommend!

Mike Brooks is a super star! Being from out of town we had to go about finding a wedding DJ in a little backwards way and Mike was a dream to work with. We had a power outage during our reception and he so graciously drove home to get us an extra back up battery. He kept the music going all night, something to make everyone happy!
